You must use Memunk only if you can form a legally binding agreement under applicable law, or if you are using the service with the consent and supervision required by law. Memunk is intended for students and learners, including teenagers, but not for use in violation of any applicable rules.
2. Account registration
You may need to create an account to use parts of the service. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and be responsible for activity on your account.
3. Service description
Memunk provides study tools including AI tutor responses, flashcards, notes, mind maps, quizzes, Pomodoro focus tracking, community content, and subscription-based features. We may modify, add, or remove features at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Memunk for unlawful purposes.
- Attempt to break, reverse engineer, or interfere with the platform.
- Upload malware or harmful code.
- Harass, abuse, impersonate, or exploit other users.
- Submit content that violates law, privacy, intellectual property, or safety rules.
- Use the service to generate, store, or share non-educational harmful content.
5. AI use limitations
AI outputs are provided to support learning, but they may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable without review. You are responsible for verifying important information, especially for exams, submissions, and academic use.
Memunk is designed for academic support only. You should not rely on AI responses as a replacement for teachers, official textbooks, exam guidelines, or professional advice.
6. User content
You retain ownership of the content you create and upload, subject to the rights you grant us to host, process, display, and operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe the rights of others or violate applicable law.
7. Community content
If you publish content publicly, other users may view, clone, share, or engage with it according to the platform’s features. You should only publish content you are comfortable making public.
8. Paid plans, billing, and invoices
Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing cycle, taxes, and available payment methods may be shown on the Billing page.
- Subscriptions may be handled through providers such as Razorpay or Stripe.
- You authorize us and our payment processors to charge the payment method you provide for applicable fees.
- Subscription plans, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and invoice availability are governed by the information shown at checkout and in the Billing section.
- If a payment fails, access to paid features may be limited or removed until payment is completed.
9. Refunds
Refunds, if available, will be handled according to the policy shown at checkout, applicable law, and our support review process. Refunds may take time to reflect depending on the payment provider and bank.
10. Availability and changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may suspend, restrict, or discontinue access to any part of the service at any time, with or without notice, where appropriate.
11. Intellectual property
Memunk, including its branding, design, software, and original content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or reuse our proprietary materials without permission.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or misused the platform. You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion.
13. Disclaimer
Memunk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Memunk will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in India, unless local consumer law requires otherwise.
